On the 3rd of August 2012 a multi million agreement between the government and Zenon consortium has been signed for the extension of the existing Larnaca marina, the harbor and residential development.

The investment is expected to have a total cost of approximately 1 billion

This triple grand project will forever change Larnaca with significant benefits to the economy and a new momentum given to the market and creating new jobs.

Under the agreement reached between the two sides, the consortium must, within four months to finalize the funding agreements with various banks. Already, representatives of the consortium have assured the government that have made contacts with both domestic banks and with foreign banks.

The great project of the larnaca new marina is expeted to commence in January 2014.
